Infrastructure

Commencing operations in 2016, Packaging Board’s Unit II extends over a 874-acre complex in Mondipatti & Manapparai Taluk in Trichy. Built with cement produced at TNPL’s Cement Plant, Unit II also hosts its own co-generative 35W power plant.

Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies from world leaders like VOITH, TNPL produces packaging boards that have achieved renown for their world-class quality and consistency. Besides investing in world-class infrastructure, our team constantly innovates to discover sustainable, environment-positive practices.

We have installed a brand new Multi Foundrinier Machine having four wires in addition to other World-class machinery to deliver unparalleled features.

Valmet Auto Lab

An automated equipment that measures and reports board properties to ensure that every lot conforms to specifications.

Optitopo

Measures Surface contours and other fine details of paperboards up ensure surface uniformity and gauge its printability across processes like gravure, flexo, offset, inkjet and more

UV Varnish Curing

For testing varnishability of board for UV varnishing.

We have installed a mini offset press using kompac dampening system to observe and report packaging board’s performance under field printing conditions.
